DESK WITH CONSOLE Birdseye maple, wild cherry and cocobolo 72" w x 32"D x 40" H This desk must be one of my favorite pieces because I keep borrowing from it. In particular, I’ve adapted the tapered six-sided leg which mortises directly into the table top as well as the undulating table edge, conceived initially to be more elbow friendly, but which helps to animate the whole form.

			TRESTLE DESK Birdseye maple and koa with steel and Macassar ebony accents 66" W x 30"D x 30"H One of the few early pieces I’ve managed to hang on to. Nice details: carved trestle pins, angled dovetail drawer boxes. The koa all came out of one large slab.

	EXECUTIVE DESK Birdseye maple and cocobolo 84"W x 42"D x 30" H One of two mirror-image executive desks backed by credenzas built into the paneling. Desks are minimal but nicely animated, a good match for Mario Bellini’s famous Cab chairs. Click for detail of draped corner.
